Your PDN has been overwhelmed (in a good way) by the show of grit and perseverance by the adult ed teachers and support staff who have rolled up their sleeves and learned new skills to continue to serve your students. Be assured, your students saw what you did…and are doing for them! I plan to use new skills and incorporate them even in our new normal. Providing options for response (which you needed from a distance) could be kept when we’re in-person and be an additional option for means of action and expression for our students. When a student can’t attend a live, in-person class, we now have more options to connect and to continue instruction remotely. I encourage you to keep conversations alive in your program to keep us thinking about how we will use these processes in the future AND how can our programs continue to capture these remote learning options as approved seat time.
