I have been using a program called Screen Cast-O-Matic to record lessons and distribute the lessons to my students. The helpful idea behind this program is the fact that I can have a document on the screen as well as a video of myself teaching the lesson. I have been using an app called Genius Scan to take a picture of the document and emailing it to myself. Then I can open up the document, and open up the Screen Cast-O-Matic program In the corner of the document to record and teach. You can also use a power point instead of a document and the idea remains the same. It is a nice option for keeping our classrooms open and flexible for our students who cannot make our regularly scheduled class at this time

I have been really curious about trying screencasting. Would you be able/willing to share one of the lessons you’ve made?
